21 DAYS OF PRAYER AND FASTING
The beginning of the new year is an excellent time to experience a spiritual reset and corporately align as a church. We dedicate 21 days to focus on hearing from the Lord and to experience His presence. While we celebrate this corporately with daily scripture and daily devotions, fasting is a deeply personal choice.
Month of January
Safe Families Sunday

Church on the Rock has said "yes" to connecting families in crisis with caring, compassionate, community during their time of need and beyond. As the Mat-Su Community Lead Church for Safe Families for Children, we hold an annual event to celebrate what God has been doing. Safe Families Sunday is designed to activate the Church to demonstrate biblical hospitality to our neighbors in need.

HEARTREACH BABY BOTTLES
Make a real change by sharing yours.
We love our baby bottle campaign because it represents a fun, easy, and consistent way for us to support HeartReach as they help parents say "yes" to life! Each year God provides around $20,000 of much-needed income through this ongoing initiative through the local Church.

THE STAND
Stand for Children and Families
Every August we take a stand for children and families in the Mat-Su Valley. God has given Church on the Rock significant influence with local and state agencies, resulting in a community effort to strengthen families, and help children and families affected by trauma. Operation Christmas Child
“Every box is an opportunity to reach a child with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” —Franklin Graham
Participating as a family in filling shoeboxes with prayerfully selected toys, school supplies, and hygiene items for Operation Christmas Child is a great way to example love for others. OCC delivers God’s love in a tangible way to children around the world and shares the Good News of Jesus Christ with every box. This is a great way to give and share the Gospel.

ECHO Global Missions Conference
Born in Peru to missionary parents, our founding pastor David Pepper infused the love for missions into our DNA. Since 2005 we have annually gathered in the fall with the purpose of celebrating global missions and developing meaningful relationships with our missionaries for the year to come. From challenge to triumph with miraculous provision, you’ll hear from missionaries around the world and be inspired to partner with what God is doing throughout the nations.

GENEROSITY SUNDAYS
Through your generosity COTR is able to impact our community by meeting tangible needs in times of crisis. Every year we give approximately $20,000 in support to local individuals and families. You can be assured that 100% of what you give to this fund goes directly to this outreach for our community. Each year COTR sets aside a couple of Sundays to focus our generosity on the Benevolence Fund and campaign to raise finances specifically for those in need.
