About Church on the Rock
The heartbeat of Church on the Rock is to help people discover how they can LOVE God and LOVE one another, LIVE with passion, purpose and freedom, and LEAD others to this same experience in Jesus. We simply say, “ helping others Love, Live, and Lead in Jesus.
Although we meet in multiple locations throughout the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, we are one church, making us a multi-site congregation. In addition to our passion for the Mat-Su, we are also compelled to develop new and life-giving faith communities throughout our state and around the globe.

Currently our short-term missions teams and our long term missionaries are serving with joy in places like, Africa, Iraq, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, India, Mexico, Peru, Nepal, China, Indonesia, Jordan, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Ireland, Belgium and the farthest reaches of the earth as well as right here in our own Alaskan backyard.
