CREATIVE ARTS & DESIGN MINISTRY

The Creative Arts & Design (CA&D) Department at Church on the Rock is responsible for the look, feel, and experience at the church in general and the Sunday morning services in particular.  The CA&D Department includes the Video Production, Media Presentation, Graphic Design, Stage & Lighting Design, Theatrical Design, and Website Development teams.  Along with these teams the CA&D Department coordinates with the Campus Pastors, Pastoral Staff, Programming Director, and Worship Directors to create a uniquely effective worship experience which enhance the preaching and teaching ministries at the church.

VIDEO PRODUCTION TEAM

The Video Production team is responsible for any impact videos or video-oriented creative elements that need to be developed.  This includes but is not limited to writing, casting, producing, editing, compressing, and distributing the videos.  Also, this team is responsible for creating videos that require stock or pre-shot footage (ex. Mission Video, Year- End Video, Special Event Videos, etc.)  The majority of this team’s responsibilities are the streaming, recording, editing, and distributing of the Sunday Morning Services through our online mediums including iTunes, Vimeo, etc.  The Video Production team is responsible for all video production equipment, computers, software, and workflow. MEDIA PRESENTATION TEAM

The Media Presentation team is responsible for the gathering, inputting, and projection of all graphics, video, and worship slides for a Sunday Service.  This includes all pre/post-service slides, announcement slides, and sermon slides as well as ensuring any audio incorporated with videos is in working order.  The Media Presentation Team is responsible for all presentation/projection equipment, computers, software, and workflow.

GRAPHIC DESIGN TEAM

The Graphic Design team is responsible for creating all graphics including sermon series, individual sermons, logos, banners, promotional material, and online graphics.

STAGE & LIGHTING TEAM

The Stage & Lighting Design team is responsible for the look of the stage on a Sunday morning as well as any church- wide/sponsored event.  This includes curtains, stage lighting, props, backgrounds, and the construction of any stage sets that are needed.  The Stage & Lighting Design Team is responsible for all stage and lighting equipment including the general maintenance of lights and programming of the light board.

THEATRICAL DESIGN TEAM

The Theatrical Design team is responsible for any creative element involving dramas, human videos, dance, art, or spoken word.  This includes but is not limited to writing, casting, and gathering required props.

WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT TEAM

The Website Development team is responsible for the design, layout, and content on the Church on the Rock website.  This includes the gathering of content and graphics.
